The Phantom Gallery Series 2 Trading Cards

At last!!!

The Phantom Gallery Series 2 trading cards are here. After years (literally) in the making, this 100-card series picks up the story from where the first series left off, beginning with a Chuck Dixon/Graeme Nolan sequel to their first story, followed by a collection of art from Phantom artists from all over the world.

The big difference between this and the last series, is that since then there has been a few companies who have been printing the Phantom, under licence – like Moonstone, Dynamite, Hermes ad even, to an extent the new Frew. So now all of the artists are bona fide Phantom artists. Every contributor has drawn the Phantom, professionally.

After the quite spectacular base cards (100 in the set), are the chase cards. There are 3 levels all up: Level 3 features art from 6 legends…Felmang, Jeff Weigel, Lindsay Walker (her very last Phantom piece), Rafael Ruiz, Paul Ryan and Bane Kerac. This are printed onto foil, with an opaque white behind the figure, and look sensational. You will get one in every pack. The level 2 chase cards are a subset designed by Sal Velluto. The same foil/opaque white deal, but with embossing. These are randomly scattered throughout the boxes. The level 1 chase is a specially-created piece from Sy Barry. Foil/opaque white with embossing and debossing. 1 of these in every 2 boxes.

If you’re looking at wholesaling these, there are 10 boxes to a carton, and the minimum quantity is 5 cartons. With every wholesale order you get a bonus Massimo Gamberi Carton Card. Same as level 1 chase card…foil/opaque white, emboss and deboss.

We’ll start up a special Facebook Page, to show you these cards, one by one…called Phantom’s Gallery, so you can check them out.

Available at newsagencies, comic stores and online at Frew and Phanfare very soon.
