Description
The entire Mr Hog story, as printed, in Italian in 1948. Starting 9th March, 1948, as a weekly newspaper supplement, for 16 weeks. A full 4-colour front cover, with the continuing story on 2 x 3-colour pages (1 from issue #5 onwards) and a 3-colour back cover. The remaining supplement was filled with Rip Kirby and Prince Valiant stories , in black and white. Weeks 1-4 were 8 pages, 5 onwards were 6 pages.. Overall, the condition, considering the age is pretty good. Some minor dog-ears and paper is yellowing slightly (see close up image). Printed in broadsheet size: 39 x 49.5 cms. $400 price makes them $25 each!
